Chemical Name: NITROFURANTOIN (nye-troe-fyoor-AN-toyn)

Macrobid CAPSULES CANNOT be split in half.

Macrobid is an antibiotic which eliminates bacteria that cause urinary tract infections. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.
