Allergy season is coming but you do not have to be a prisoner to your itchy, watery eyes, runny nose, and wheezing this year! During the month of April Canada Pharmacy is having a sale on allergy medications! Prevention is still the best medicine, but you can not always avoid the allergens that affect you the most.

Canada Pharmacy's excellent selection of allergy medications will help you make it through the coming season in comfort.

Along with these medications you can also adjust your environment and help reduce the offending allergens that your body contends with on a daily basis.

If you do not want to take the drastic step of finding a new home for your family pet then you will need to make sure you keep your pets off of the furniture and out of your bedroom. Have a friend or family member who does not share your allergy give your pet a bath and brush once a week to reduce dander.

Dust mites are the real cause of your sneezing and itchy, watery eyes. Keep the humidity in your home below 50% because dust mites can not live in areas with low humidity. If possible, remove any carpets, rugs, and heavy curtains from your home. Keep your rooms free of clutter and be sure to vacuum at least once a week. Dust with a damp cloth and wear a dust mask if your allergies are especially bad. Wash your bedding in hot water (dry on a hot setting as well) and change the bedding once a week.

Your allergist can tell you which kinds of pollen you are allergic to and if you are more sensitive to certain kinds. Once you know what to avoid, check pollen counts daily (your local weather channel can help with this) and avoid going out when the pollen or pollens you are allergic to are at high levels. Pollen levels are generally highest in the early morning hours from 5am to 10am, so if you can not check the counts try to spend as little time as possible outdoors during these times. When you are indoors, keep the windows closed so the pollen does not get in. If you do need to go out during high pollen counts you should change into fresh clothes once you come back indoors.

By combining a good allergy medication with an awareness of exactly which allergens affect you the most you will be able to enjoy the best that the season has to offer you!

Yours in good health,
