Heart Health
Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in developed countries today. More than 1.7
million people will die from a heart-related illness this year. In the United States, that is 2600 people
every day, at a rate of one death every 33 seconds. Yet we exist in a universal state of denial. It is sad
and ironic that we know how the majority of us will die, yet we do not regard heart disease as an immediate threat.
The greatest tragedy is how unprepared the average American is to tackle a disease that is so readily preventable.
