Chemical Name ROSIGLITAZONE (roh-si-GLI-ta-zone) Avandia is a TABLET and CAN be split in half. Avandia is used, alone or in combination with other medications, to treat type 2 (noninsulin-dependent) diabetes in people whose diabetes cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone.

Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes shakiness, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, sweating, confusion, blurred vision, headache, numbness or tingling of the mouth, weakness, fatigue, pale color and sudden hunger.
