Description:
Chemical Name SUMATRIPTAN (SOO-ma-trip-tan)

Imitrex is used to relieve migraine headache symptoms. However, it will not prevent migraine headaches or reduce the number of attacks you have.

Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes burning, discharge, pain and/or soreness in the nose, change in sense of taste, discomfort in jaw, mouth, tongue, throat, nose or sinuses, dizziness, drowsiness, feeling of cold, flushing, lightheadedness, muscle aches, cramps or stiffness and nausea or vomiting.
