This medicine is a form of vitamin D used to treat low calcium levels in your blood. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Cautions:
CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience pain, swelling or redness at injection site; constipation; diarrhea; dry mouth; headache; weakness; nausea; vomiting; metallic taste; muscle pain; bone pain; or drowsiness. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience increased thirst or urination, loss of appetite, weight loss, flushing, headache, increased sensitivity of your eyes to light, irregular pulse, itching, severe stomach pain, or emotional or mood changes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
