Description:
This medicine is an antineoplastic used to treat prostate cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Directions:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. TAKE THIS MEDICINE WITH A GLASS of water on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. Do not take this medicine with milk, dairy products, calcium supplements, or antacids containing calcium. IF NAUSEA, VOMITING, OR LOSS OF APPETITE OCCURS, ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist for ways to lessen these effects. STORE THIS MEDICINE in the refrigerator between 36 and 46 degrees F (2 and 8 degrees C). IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take 2 doses at once.

Cautions:
DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. SEVERAL DAYS TO WEEKS may pass before you feel the full benefit of this medicine. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your doctor. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are being treated with this medicine. Medical and/or laboratory tests such as blood calcium levels or blood pressure checks may be done to monitor your progress or to check for side effects. This medicine may alter the results of some laboratory tests including liver function tests, and bilirubin and testosterone blood levels. Be sure all your doctors and lab personnel know that you are taking this medicine. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine is not intended for use in women. This medicine may cause harm to the human fetus. Both men and women should discuss with their doctor effective birth control options that are available. IF YOU HAVE DIABETES, this medicine may affect your blood sugar. Check blood sugar levels closely and ask your doctor before making changes to your diabetes medicine.
