Description:
Imitrex tablets have now been changed to a new Dissintigrating Formula(DF), and the regular tablets are no longer available.

Imitrex tablets CANNOT be split

Chemical Name: SUMATRIPTAN (SOO-ma-trip-tan)

Imitrex is used to relieve migraine headache symptoms. However, it will not prevent migraine headaches or reduce the number of attacks you have.

Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes burning, discharge, pain and/or soreness in the nose, burning, pain or redness at the place of injection, change in sense of taste, discomfort in jaw, mouth, tongue, throat, nose or sinuses, dizziness, drowsiness, felling of burning, warmth, heat, numbness, tightness or tingling, feeling of cold, flushing, lightheadedness, muscle aches, cramps or stiffness and nausea or vomiting.
