Supartz is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution of purified sodium hyaluronate. It is indicated for treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately fo conservative non-drug therapy and simple pain medications (eg. tylenol)

Each 2.5ML prefilled syringe contains sodium hyaluronate 25.0mg, sodium chloride 21.25mg, dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate 1.343mg, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate 0.04mg, water for injection,

Directions:
Supartz is given by intra-articular (into the joint) injection BY YOUR PHYSICIAN once a week for a total of 5 injections.

All Injections must be injected by a practitioner who has medical and specialist training. The practitioner must be medically qualified.

Cautions:
Store in the original packaging below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use after expiration date on package. STRICT ASEPTIC ADMINISTRATION TECHNIQUE MUST BE FOLLOWED. THIS MEDICATION MUST BE ADMINISTERED BY YOUR PHYSICIAN. Discard any unused Supartz. The prefilled syringe is intended for single use. The content of the syringe must be used immediately once the container has been opened.
