Chemical Name: SERTRALINE (SER-tra-leen) Zoloft Brand Caplets CAN be split in half.
The 50mg and 100mg generic tablets CAN be split in half, the 25mg generic is a capsule and CANNOT be split in half. Zoloft is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks, and posttraumatic stress disorder. It is also used to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder, including mood swings, irritability, bloating, and breast tenderness.

Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes upset stomach, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, dry mouth, loss of appetite, drowsiness, headache and dizziness.
