Canada Pharmacy: Aid Japan
On Friday March 11th 2011 at approximately 2:46pm, an 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean near the North Eastern coast of Japan which sustained significant damage with blackouts, fire and tsunami. This is the largest earthquake in Japan’s recorded history with an estimated 2,700 killed, tens of thousands missing, and leaving countless numbers of people injured. The magnitude 8.9 offshore quake caused a 22-foot tsunami, which was followed by more than 50 aftershocks. Today, the nuclear crisis widened as reactors released radiation into the atmosphere. Government officials have begun evacuations and people are fleeing the area. It is estimated that 500,000 people are housed in temporary shelters because of the tsunami and nuclear crisis so far.

According to some economic experts, it could take Japan years to recover from the devastation over the past few days. Charities are beginning to mount an emergency response and donations are needed to help provide relief to those in need.
Canada Pharmacy is proud to be supporting the recovery efforts in Japan. We are donating $1.00 from every order placed from March 15 2011 to April 16 2011 to the Japanese relief fund.
If you would like to personally donate to this important cause, there are many ways to do so.
