Juvederm

All Injections must be injected by a practitioner who has medical and specialist training. The practitioner must be medically qualified.

Juvederm is an injectable gel used in cosmetic procedures to restore volume to skin in the face. Juvederm is made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps the face retain its shape. As we age, we lose our hyaluronic acid. Juvederm injects volume back into the face to remove wrinkles and nasolabial folds. The hyaluronic acid in Juvederm simply supplements the body's age-depleted hyaluronic acid to plump-up the lip, raise the skin and fill in the particular wrinkle being treated. Juvederm has three major benefits. 1. It is obtained by biosynthesis 2. It is of non-animal origin and the molecule is highly biocompatible. 3. It does not require any prior testing.

Juvederm Ultra 2 (Contains Lidocaine)
Juvaderm Ultra 2 is a highly cross-linked formulation for the subtle correction of medium facial lines and skin depressions.

Juvederm Ultra 3 (Contains Lidocaine)
Juvederm Ultra 3 is a highly cross-linked formulation for more versatility in contouring and volumising medium to deep facial lines and skin depressions, such as nasolabial folds.

Juvederm Ultra 4 (Contains Lidocaine)
Juvederm Ultra 4 is a highly cross-linked robust formulation for volumising and correction of deeper folds and wrinkles including enhacing volume in the cheeks and chin. This formulation should not be injected into the glabella (frown lines) or into the areas under the eyes.

Juvederm 18
Juvaderm 18 is used for filling fine lines and wrinkles. When injected into the superficial dermis, the fluid version, Juvederm 18, fills fine wrinkles such as crows feet or peri-oral wrinkles.

Juvederm 24
Juvederm 24 is used for forehead wrinkles and moderate furrows. When injected into the middle dermis, the dense version, Juvederm 24, effectively fills forehead wrinkles, glabellar lines, obvious mild to moderate nasal furrows and cheek wrinkles.

Juvederm 30
Juvederm 30 is used for shaping of Lips, deep folds and cheeks. When injected into the deep dermis, the densest version, Juvederm 30, fills deep naso-genian folds, returns volume to your lips, sculptures your cheeks and gives your face, its natural oval shape again.

Juvederm 24 HV
Juvederm 24 is used for filling deep forehead lines, glabellar lines, mild to moderate naso-labial folds, cheek wrinkles and superficial oral commissures. Juvederm 24 HV is also excellent for puckering of the lips. This product is injected into the mid/superficial dermis.

Juvederm 30 HV
Juvederm 30 HV effectively fills deep naso-labial folds, returns volume to the lips, sculptures the cheeks, allows cheek nappage and restores the natural oval shape of the face. This product is injected into the mid/deep dermis.

The effects of Juvederm usually last six to nine months, but sometimes more or sometimes less depending on skin type, the area treated, the volume injected, and the technique used for the procedure.
