Androcur (Cyproterone Acetate)

ANDROCUR is used to treat cancer of the prostate gland. It can also be used for control of libido in severe hypersexuality and/or sexual deviation in the adult male. This medicine acts as an antiandrogen by blocking androgen receptors. It also has progestogenic activity, which causes a reduction in the production of testicular androgens.

SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes decreased interest in sexual intercourse, inability to have or keep an erection, increase in sexual ability, desire, drive or performance, increase interest in sexual intercourse, swelling of the breasts or breast soreness in both males and females and unexpected milk flow from breasts.
