Asacol (5-ASA)

Asacol is used to treat inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis. It works inside the bowel by helping to reduce the inflammation and other symptoms of the disease.

SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes abdominal or stomach cramps, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, runny or stuffy nose and sneezing.
