    Cefpoderm is a prescription antimicrobial medication for dogs used to treat skin infections caused by staph, strep, and e-coli bacteria, plus for treatment of other types of bacterial infections in pets. Cefpoderm for dogs may also be prescribed to treat bladder infections in dogs or for respiratory infections too. The active ingredient Cefpodoxime Proxetil works to interfere with bacterial cell wall synthesis, weakening the infection and making it unable to spread.

    Directions
