    Description

    ESTRING (estradiol) is a medication prescribed to treat moderate to severe urogenital symptoms that are caused by postmenopause. ESTRING can treat symptoms of vaginal atrophy including: 

    • Burning
    • Dryness
    • Dyspareunia
    • Pruritis


    ESTRING can also treat symptoms that affect the lower urinary tract including:

    • Dysuria
    • Urinary urgency


    ESTRING contains the estrogen hormone estradiol, which releases approximately 7.5 micrograms every 24 hours. Estrogens are responsible for the maintenance of secondary sexual characteristics, and restoring estrogens levels can treat symptoms caused by the reduced estrogen that occurs during menopause.

    Insert ESTRING into the upper third of the vaginal canal and wear it continuously for 90 days. ESTRING is designed to continuously release medication over this period of time.
