Description
BUCCASTEM (prochlorperazine) is a medication prescribed to treat nausea and vomiting associated with migraine. While the generic drug prochlorperazine is available in the United States, this particular formulation is not.
BUCCASTEM works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain. Dopamine receptors are involved in regulating several processes in the body, including nausea and vomiting.
