What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

    Description

    Fleas are at their worst when they're biting your pets, but anytime they're off the animals doesn't make them any more welcome in your house. Using a good flea preventative is standard for cat and dog owners, but many homeowners will also see the need for a flea area treatment to get rid of fleas in the house. This Knockout ES area treatment for fleas is just what is needed, and it works well to kill fleas in carpets, and any other upholstery.

    Directions

    THIS IS A CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY FLEA SPRAY. Do NOT spray onto your pet or use with any application other than spraying onto the carpet and upholstery.

    Shake container before use. Cover aquariums and fishbowls and ensure there are no pets in the area before you begin applying. Apply at the rate of 16 oz. for up to 2100 ft2 (8 oz. - 1050 sq. feet).

    Hold can at arms length and direct spray towards intended treatment area. Use a sweeping motion to apply product and back away from treated area while holding the can 36 from the surface being given treatment.

    For upholstered furniture, treat under cushions and areas where fleas are more likely to be found. Do not treat areas where there is the possibility of humans coming into contact with exposed skin.

    Repeat treatment as needed until fleas are eliminated from home and no longer seen.

    Ingredients

    The active ingredient in Knockout ES area treatment for fleas is Pyriproxyfen.

    Cautions

    Only for application on carpet and upholstery, and users must follow application guidelines exactly as shown on packaging. Do not apply more than 1 time a day.

    It is best to wear gloves when applying Knockout treatment for fleas. If not, users must wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after applying area spray for fleas.

    Stay off treated areas until spray has dried completely.

    Keep product out of the sink or drain.
