    Description

    Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Original Formula is used to manage the symptoms of dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and psoriasis.

    The shampoo comes in a 473 mL bottle that is packaged in a carton.

    Directions

    Use Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo as directed on the package label.

    Use at least two times a week or as instructed by your doctor. Make sure your hair is thoroughly wet, then massage the shampoo into your scalp. Lather and leave the shampoo on your hair and scalp for a few minutes, then rinse and repeat.

    Do not get the shampoo in your eyes.

    Keep the shampoo stored out of light, heat, and freezing temperatures; keep out of children’s reach.

    Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Original Formula Ingredients:

    • The active ingredient in Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Original Formula is coal tar 0.5%.
    • Inactive ingredients include water, sodium laureth sulfate, cocamide MEA, laureth-4, fragrance, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, sodium chloride, polysorbate 20, citric acid, cocamidopropyl betaine, tetrasodium, tetrasodium EDTA, and sodium hydroxide.

    Contraindications

    Patients should not use Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Original Formula for prolonged periods of time without speaking with a doctor. Patients should also not use it with other forms of psoriasis treatment, including ultraviolet radiation or prescription medications unless instructed by a doctor.

    Cautions

    • Before you start using Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Original Formula, talk to your doctor about:
      • All the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use, including other topical products

    Side Effects
