    Description

    Votrient is a prescription advanced cancer treatment medication used to treat kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) or soft tissue sarcoma treatment when cancer is in muscles, tendons, blood vessels, or nerves. Use of this medication is considered as a targeted cancer therapy, and most patients who begin on Votrient will have had insufficient results from more standard approaches to cancer treatment. The active ingredient in this medication – Pazopanib – is a tyrosine kinase drug that attacks and disables certain proteins that the cancer cells rely on for growth and expansion.

    Directions

    The standard Votrient dose schedule is to take the medication once daily, without food. Votrient must be taken on an empty stomach and it should be taken at least 1-2 hours before food is eaten.

    Cautions

    Side Effects
