    Routes of administration



    Anusol Plus ointment is applied directly to the affected area. Before applying the medication, clean the affected area with mild soap and water and then rinse the area well or pat dry with a toilet tissue or soft pad. Apply a small amount of the ointment to the affected area up to 5 times daily, especially at night, in the morning, or after each bowel movement. Follow the instructions on the packaging or consult with your healthcare provider for specific directions.


    Each tube of Anusol Plus contains zinc sulfate and pramoxine hydrochloride as active ingredients.


    Do not use Anusol Plus if you are allergic to zinc sulfate, pramoxine hydrochloride, or any other ingredient in Anusol Plus.


    • Before using Anusol Plus, inform your doctor or pharmacist:
      • If you have any allergies to the ingredients
      • If you have any existing health conditions or are taking any other medications
      • If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant
      • If you are nursing or plan to nurse your baby
    • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the ointment.
    • Do not ingest Anusol Plus; it is for external use only.
    • Avoid contact with eyes, and if contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.
    • Consult your healthcare provider if symptoms persist or worsen after 7 days of treatment.
    • Store Anusol Plus at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
    • Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

    Side Effects

    The common side effects of Anusol Plus include skin irritation, redness, or a burning sensation at the application site. If you experience any side effects that worsen or persist, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately. In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as rash, swelling, severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
